A map of our communities

What is The Village Minibus?

  • As the name states it's a minibus for all of the community.
  • The minibus was given to Tirley Parish Council by Tewkesbury Borough Council although it is completely self financing and does not receive any subsidy from Council Tax payers.
  • It was first called The Tirley Community Minibus but we changed the name in August 2009 to The Village Minibus to reflect the wider usage in our community
  • The Village Minibus is run by a dedicated band of volunteers who provide a valuable service to our communities.
  •  Some drive the minibus, some help with the administration.
  • We provide a friendly transport service to enable access to shops, places of recreation or attend appointments - "Access For All".
  • It means that all clubs and groups in the catchment area have, in effect, their own vehicle.
  • Our minibus can carry up to fifteen passengers plus the driver and has access facilities for up to two wheelchairs

Have a look around our web site and if you have any questions or requests contact us by either phone, email or letter.
